Sponsor A Neighbor is an ongoing way to step into someone’s story, make an immediate difference, and stay by their side through the challenges they face in creating a brighter and more stable future for themselves. Instead of giving into a general fund and hoping it reaches the right place, or fulfilling a single request, you choose a real neighbor in need, recommended by one of our Angels.

Your donations help cover specific, verified requests along their journey towards a more stable living situation, health, or recovery. It might be food, work boots, work clothes, a bus pass, textbook fees, or small emergencies that are standing between our participants and stability.

Every request is reviewed and shared by our Angels, volunteers who know the community and understand what help is needed most, and who are making a real journey toward stabilizing. Sponsors can support a request fully or partially, and when a need is met, an Angel follows through to deliver or coordinate pickup. This creates a clear chain of care from sponsor to neighbor, with accountability at each step and progress updates as needs are funded and fulfilled.

At its heart, Sponsor A Neighbor is about restoring dignity and hope. When someone is struggling, even a small act of continuous support, an “I Got You,” can change their entire week, and sometimes their entire lives. Your sponsorship tells a neighbor, “You are seen. You are not alone.” It is local compassion in action, and it is one of the fastest ways to turn generosity into real, tangible relief.
