We Deliver HOPE.
Red Bird Hope accepts requests for critical/urgent needs or services like: life-saving medication, emergency food, homeless camping gear, clothing, bus passes, work shoes, and so much more! We then share those requests to local donors and volunteer delivery drivers (Angels). Almost 98% of donations go directly to those in need. Every request is handled with privacy and dignity. The Red Bird Foundation, Inc., serving Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties.
How Donations Work
Choose a Neighbor to Help
Browse our open requests by county, city, zip code, or type of need. Click a request to read the story and decide how you want to support that individual or family.
Tell Us How You Will Help
Choose to make a monetary donation toward a specific item, pledge a gently used item, or purchase items for pickup by one of our Angels. Please note that funds never go directly to requesters – all support is provided as goods or services.
We Coordinate Pickup and Delivery
Our Angels handle the logistics. We receive or pick up your donation, and deliver it directly to the person in need. You can also subscribe to a request and get an update when the request has been fulfilled!

Donated devices can help replace damaged phones needed for employment, give homeless individuals internet access through local Wi-Fi, and help students and job seekers access school, email, applications, and essential resources.

Angel Delivery Program
Angels are the trusted volunteers who help turn donations into real, immediate relief by purchasing and delivering essential items directly to neighbors in crisis.

SafeHaven Campgrounds
A concept project and a practical, community-driven response to the growing crisis of families, students, seniors, and workers living in cars, tents, and RVs. This is a pay-to-stay model.
