My name is LaTanya Jenkins, and I am urgently seeking food assistance for myself and my seven children, including one child with special needs who requires my care. I am currently unemployed and struggling to make ends meet.

Although I normally receive SNAP benefits each month, my benefits were unexpectedly delayed this month, leaving my family without the food assistance we depend on. Despite numerous calls, I was finally able to speak with someone who informed me that my benefits may not be approved until the 16th.

I regularly visit local food banks, but the amount of food provided is not enough to support a family of eight. I am doing everything I can to provide for my children, but this unexpected delay has created an urgent need.

I am simply asking for enough food assistance to help my children and me get through this week while we wait for our benefits. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
