Board of Directors

The Red Bird Foundation is governed by a three-member Board of Directors responsible for organizational oversight, financial stewardship, policy development, and major strategic decisions.

Together, the board brings experience in nonprofit leadership, crisis support, community coordination, financial management, research, communications, and lived understanding of the barriers faced by the people Red Bird serves.

Carli Nichole Broach
Founder, President, Treasurer, and Director

Carli Nichole Broach founded The Red Bird Foundation and oversees its finances, donations, partnerships, and major organizational decisions.

Her experience includes crisis support, addiction-related advocacy, community assistance, and direct work with individuals and families facing urgent hardship. She brings practical leadership, financial oversight, and a strong commitment to ensuring that Red Bird’s resources are used responsibly and compassionately.

Theresa M. Kelly
Vice President, Coordinator, and Director

Theresa M. Kelly oversees Red Bird’s public request system, resource coordination, communications, outreach, website development, and much of the organization’s direct client support.

Her background includes research, writing, crisis response, nonprofit program development, public education, and individualized problem-solving for people facing barriers involving housing, employment, transportation, benefits, documentation, and medical needs.

Carla Hendrick Broach
Secretary and Director

Carla Hendrick Broach serves as Secretary and Director, supporting board participation, organizational records, meeting documentation, and general oversight. She brings a strong interest in community service and helps ensure that Red Bird remains grounded in accountability, compassion, and responsible decision-making.
