URGENT: We Are Currently Seeking a Reliable SUV
Our most immediate need is a used, dependable SUV for Red Bird’s founder, coordinator, event organizer, and mom of two, Nichole, who has been without reliable transportation for several months after the engine in her previous SUV failed. This was her personal and Red Bird vehicle.
Nichole plays a vital role in coordinating assistance, communicating with neighbors in crisis, collecting and delivering donated items, organizing events and outreach, and helping connect local families with resources.
The ideal vehicle would be:
- Fully functioning and safe to drive
- Mechanically reliable
- Currently titled with no unresolved liens
- Large enough to carry groceries, clothing, hygiene supplies, pet supplies, and other donated items, event tents, large bulk donations, etc.
- Reasonably fuel-efficient
- Free of major engine, transmission, electrical, or structural problems
- Preferably an SUV, crossover, minivan, or similarly practical vehicle
The vehicle would be titled to and maintained by The Red Bird Foundation and used to support Red Bird’s charitable operations, outreach, deliveries, and coordination work and for personal use.

- A description of its mechanical and cosmetic condition
- Information about any warning lights, known problems, accidents, or recent repairs
- Confirmation that you have the legal authority to donate it
- A clear title or information about any existing lien
- The vehicle’s current location
A South Carolina vehicle transfer generally requires a properly assigned title and supporting transfer documentation. The odometer reading and transfer information must also be completed correctly.
Please do not sign the title until a Red Bird representative gives you transfer instructions, because errors or incomplete information can delay the donation.
