Donation Drives
RedBird accepts donations throughout the year. We accept clothing, work shoes, camping gear, smartphones, laptops, and more.
Camping Gear
Items can be new or gently used. They must be fully functional, with no musty or mildew smell.
- Tents: 2-6 person tents are ideal.

- Air mattresses: twin, full, queen and patch kits

Clothing & Shoes
We take small donations of new and used clothing. We do not have a storage facility, so we typically request clothing that is least donated and most needed.
- Big and tall clothing: such as sizes 2-4X
- Toddler clothing and shoes
- Men’s and women’s denim pants
- Work shoes: comfortable work sneakers, kitchen shoes, steel-toed boots, etc.
- Military surplus: boots, camo BDU pants.
- Hiking boots/shoes: These are critical for the homeless living in wooded areas.
- Walking/Running sneakers: critical for those who walk to work.
- Winter wool coats and pants
Socks
Socks can be a very critical item. They can prevent blisters, foot rot, athlete’s foot, and frostbite. New socks only, please.
