  • WE DO NOT HAND OUT CASH. Local donors fund requests at their discretion, NOT RedBird. We can deliver your request as soon as the same day. Delivery times vary based on when donations come in and when volunteers can deliver. Lower-cost requests are more likely to be fulfilled, so don’t ask for more than you need. You are more likely to get gently used items for some requests than new ones (e.g., clothing, camping gear, bicycle).
  • Limited Service Areas: Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Ladson, Knightsville, Daniel Island, Hanahan, James Island, Moncks Corner, Bonneau, Pinopolis, Cordesville. We use DoorDash, Walmart+, and other services for many deliveries. Requests outside of our service areas may not be accepted.
  • We require evidence of circumstances to maintain donor trust. You will be asked to provide evidence of your urgency, need, and inability to afford your need in some form. We understand not all situations may have photo or document evidence, but most do.

Request posts remain active for 1 week. After then, you will need to submit your request again if your request has not been fulfilled.

Multiple item requests will be DELETED. Submit (1) request per need if you have multiple need categories (e.g., clothing, food, shelter). Donors cannot donate to bulk requests.

Include an email or phone number so we can contact you. An email address is required to receive a alert when your request goes live. This information is kept private. If you only have WiFi calling, enter your app name and handle/number.

What time of day is best for you for delivery of your request?

Neighbors are more inclined to help other nearby neighbors. Entering your neighborhood is optional.

You must provide a drop-off address or location for us to delivery your request unless you will be receiving an eGift Card buy email or text.

List clothing sizes, be specific about items needed such as brands. Tell donors why you need this and why you cannot afford it on your own at this time. Thank donors for reading your request and considering a donation to you.

Requests with photos are 75% more likely to be fulfilled then those without photos. Examples include proof of employment, an empty fuel gauge, pets, belongings, living conditions, or documents with private information covered. DO NOT UPLOAD FACES or photographs of yourself or other people. Photos containing visible faces will not be published.

You may be offered new or gently used items. This only applies to items like clothing or shoes ect, not food or hygiene items.

If you estimate to low, your request may NOT be processed. Enter the total amount you think will cover this need including TAXES (for example, $37 for work boots, $39 for emergency groceries). Angels will work within this budget ONLY.
