- We do not hand out cash.
- Requests are funded by local donors.
- MAX price per request is $45 except for emergency shelter for children and vulnerable adults, AC units, and some other requests like medical costs. The maximum for Uber/Lyft, Doc/ID, is $25; hygiene is $35.
- We can deliver your request as soon as the same day. Delivery times vary based on when donations come in and when volunteers can deliver.
- Submit (1) request per need. If you have multiple needs (e.g., clothing, food). Multiple item requests will be deleted.
- Include an email or phone number so we can contact you. This information is kept private. If you only have Wi-Fi calling, enter your information and handle/number.
- Lower-cost requests are more likely to be fulfilled. Do not ask for more than you need. You are more likely to get gently used items for some requests than new ones (e.g., clothing, camping gear, bicycle).
- Be specific about what you need. Your request submission goes directly out to potential donors. List details such as clothing sizes and preferred materials, shoe size, hygiene item types, brands, specs, pet details, such as species, weight, and age.
- Limited Service Areas: Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Ladson, Knightsville, Daniel Island, Hanahan, James Island, Moncks Corner, Bonneau, Pinopolis, Cordesville. Not all zip codes in these cities are covered.
