I have had no ac for the last 6 years. The last 3 years of summer have been BRUTUAL! This year it seems to be kicking my butt even earlier. I'm struggling to sleep. I took 4 showers yesterday just to cool mug internal temperature down. I have a 15 year old that has a window unit and it confined to his bedroom to stay cool in it. Unfortunately outlets in the back rooms are out so I cannot have a unit there. The outlet near the living window is also out now. Im miserable. Please help! I've had multiple hvac companies give me quotes over the years, including some within the last month. I am told I need a new 3 ton unit and modified ductwork at the unit/housing connection plus a hood.
