Hello good morning I am a struggling mom who just started working yesterday after seven months of being unemployed. I have a one year old and I have two teenagers in high school. I’m having a hard time today providing a way for my kids to get out of school because we don’t live near the bus route, so I usually take them to and from but unfortunately, my training today is not ending until after school hours so I don’t have a way for them to get home because the School Bus does not come in our area either so no I’m stuck between losing my job and leaving early to get them or being able to stay to work until four and find them on way home. I just need to get through my training between today Tuesday and Wednesday and then I can pick after school But the training is mandatory for the morning if anyone could please help me get my kids home from school today. I don’t have a phone. My daughter has a phone, but I didn’t list her number because I didn’t want her to get any calls during school hours, but I could send her the information and email from my work laptop on how to get home once I figure it out. I see that there is a offer to request help with the Uber and Lyft. She has a Uber team account, but we don’t have any money on it right now because so far I only work one day which was yesterday and I work tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday, but still wanna see a paycheck until next week if anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated School is out at 3:30 today. I would appreciate if I could get the help but if not, I would just have to let my job know that I have to leave at 3 o’clock. I’m just hoping that they don’t terminate me for not working my full training shift.
