Good morning I’m applying for a request for possible food assistance. Don’t need much just enough for kids to eat. I currently work part time 4 hours a day and 2/3 days a week because it’s a flex
Position and sometimes hours aren’t available. I make just enough to make ends meet so at times I don’t have anything saved up or a back up plan. Most recently I lost my food stamp assistance on 8/13 and had been struggling for food ever since. I have been donating plasma to buy food and asking around. But today when I had plan to donate plasma I was turn away don’t you guys know they told me that I can’t donate plasma because I need to shower. I just admit I worked last night and didn’t have a change to shower this morning because I took my kids to school and try to hurry and donate before work at 13 it was very embarrassing but I’m not embarrassed so bad that I’m afraid to ask for help so my life can’t eat. At times I don’t take care of myself because my life revolves around making sure they are ok. I went to a few food banks last week but they mostly gave me the same thing but it wasn’t much to make meals with. I lost my food stamp because my daughter and son worked over the summer to buy her school things and now they are counting that as apart of my household income even tho I try to explain to them my kids don’t make enough to be financially provide for a household or feed 5 people in happy they took the initiative to make things easy for me by trying to provide for their self in currently in a loop hole trying to get my benefit back but being that the lost was unexpected it put a toll on me to figure out ways to get food im choosing between food and bills and today I have ran short on funds 100 % because my light was due Friday so I had to pay today to avoid disconnection im out of funds until I’m paid next week I’m not asking for much maybe just the ingredients for spaghetti and something for them to drink I don’t need anything for myself I just want to make sure they can get out of school and don’t have to be hungry while I’m at work im also willing to volunteer or help someone out when I can or do any side jobs for someone
