Working Senior Homeless Man, Clean, Capable, Responsible, Friendly, Quiet looking for apartment ASAP.

Looking for a studio apartment or a 1-bedroom apartment in the Oakbrook or Boonhill Rd/Dorchester/Orangburg Rd. area, furnished or unfurnished. I don’t have pets, but I would like to get a dog at some point. Perhaps. I am very quiet; I pay rent on time. I work part-time at C&L Body Shop on Beaty Ln. 29483. I make about $500 a month now, but with a place and a good night’s sleep, I could work enough to make $2,000 per month. I’ve worked there for 23 years. Social Security retirement benefits $1278. I have a bank account, an active credit card, and good credit. I’m 68 years old.

RedBird Note: Jeff is a very friendly, funny man who takes very good care of himself and the small number of possessions he has. He has been homeless since January 2026.  He has a bicycle for transportation. He currently hangs out in front of the Big Lots on Dorchester Road. He is a former employee and respectful of the property, so they let him sit comfortably there in the shade.
