Ash is a veteran in CRITICAL need of food for the next couple of weeks until he gets his first paycheck. He is entiely out of food and is not panhandling. He is requesting MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat- freeze-dried meals), which are easy to carry, and he has a place to store the MRE's he cannot carry. He is a young man who left home due to a toxic parental situation. He is a former National Guard member and is living in a tent until he can secure veterans' assistance and housing. He is originally from the North and is the son of a police officer who passed away from cancer. Since then, he has been living with his mother until the situation became unhealthy. He is having trouble finding work due to his dyslexia, but he is not giving up. He wants to be off the streets as soon as possible.
